Welcome to Fresh Air Wheels!

In Spring 2026, we will launch Fresh Air Wheels: Saint Anthony Park eBike Library so neighbors can try an eBike for several days, completely free! You are qualified to sign up for this program if you are over the age of 21 and live within the Service Area boundaries of the map on the right.

Modeled after the successful Minneapolis Cargo Bike Library, this program will let borrowers see how an eBike would fit into their life, including commuting to work, getting groceries, dropping off kids, or simply enjoying the ride.

Each participant will receive:

  • A fully charged eBike (standard or cargo style)

  • A helmet and bike lock

  • A brief orientation and safety training* to ensure a confident, comfortable ride

At the end of your loan, you’ll have the chance to share feedback and reflect on how eBiking could fit into your daily routine.

Note: We also have an optional Thule child bike seat that can be added on the back of the cargo-style bike, as well as a child-sized helmet. Please note if you are interested in these options when booking a bike.

Book an eBike

*To become a member and book an eBike from the Fresh Air Wheels eBike library, you must complete all five of the E-Bike Safety Modules, hosted by PeopleForBikes and the League of American Bicyclists. This includes watching all videos from start to finish and scoring 100% on all corresponding quizzes in each of the following modules:

  1. What is an Electric Bicycle?

  2. E-Bike Battery Safety

  3. Before You Ride

  4. Rider Safety

  5. Collision Awareness + Rider Etiquette

Once you have successfully completed all modules (this should take approximately 20-30 minutes), you can proceed with booking one of our eBikes, available here. For any questions or concerns, please email Communications@TransitionASAP.org.
